Is this common problem in EG6??

Default Is this common problem in EG6??

Well I have a problem my Brake light is coming on for some unknown reason...

The Brake Fluid is up to level

The Brakes are fine

but the light comes on every now and then and goes away when i tap or wiggle my Hand brake

Is this common that you'll had to face?

How can i fix this plz?

check your parking brake switch. you have a loose connection.

Yeah if you are referring to your parking brake light, there should be a butt connector with a wire or two connected onto the E-brake itself. That may be loose as someone has said. If you pull off your e-brake cover you will see the wire that is attached.

If your brake light comes on doesn't it mean something is wrong with your altenator? That's how it was with my car. I'm not too sure though.

im sure its not the alternator cause when i mess with the Hand Brake the Thing goes away like if i press the Hand Brake button

Not true, that'd be your battery light.

check your parking brake switch. you have a loose connection.
This is where my money is. remove the plastic housing over your hand brake. There is 1 wire towards the base and a little plastic spring loaded plunger style switch. Make sure its not worn and make sure the connection is good.
