-not all "rice" cars are really rice.... they are faster than you think

-"sleepers" are not always fast

-if the guy says he's all show...... he won't race

-don't tell the cops outright that you are about to street race. imply it, and he will leave until you are done (this one may only work with "good ole boy" cops though)

-if your car isn't stock, say it is........ if you car is stock, don't say it isn't

-domestics WILL play nice, but first you have to beat them, FAIRLY, to gain their respect

-the clutch only has to be depressed for well under a second

-if you see an "R" sticker on a car, put an "ICE" stocker after it
