Default Crutchfield speakers

When you buy speakers from them, they give you "clips" for easy installation. Are they any good?

The local shop say they only weld the wires on because that the only way to go. They say, that's why you should have it install by a pro instead of do-it-yourself.

Your comments?

Thanks

Default Re: Crutchfield speakers (GoLowDrew)

Hmmm, I bought my (Cerwin Vega) car speakers from them, but don't remember any clips!? Still, I've always liked Crutchfield products, not the best price, but a good selection and technical support. Most auto speakers have standard spade(?) connectors and should connect to your stock speaker wires...
