Default Will coilovers out of a Del Sol work on a 1990 hatch?

My buddie is getting Neuspeed springs and is getiing rid of his coilovers. He said I can have them. Just wanted to know ifthey will work.

yea they should work, but what year is the del sol?

Are they full coilovers or ones like the Skunk2 kit? If they are full coilovers with the shock as part of the assembly then they will not fit on the front. The front lower fork that the bottom of the shock sets into is smaller in diameter on the 88-91 civics than it is on the 92-up civics/del sols. The backs will work though. If it is just a kit like the Skunk2's were the OEM style shock is used then they will work.
