what motor is better in an accord?
actually i think the jdm h22a and h22a4 are both 200hp, the others are like 190 or 160 or so, i'm not quite sure. go to prelude forum and search for them, those guys would know.
for the accord, it's stupid to use b series. i hate b series engines anyways. most of them are sooo expensive and tehy don't offer anything real special. there is one that's 190hp but it only has like 120lb/ft of torque, so what's the point? plus htey are all at least a grand more expensive than h22's. the b series might have to have special mounts made up. h22's are almost direct bolt on with our engine compartments. they have about 20-30 more lb/ft of torque and that's what you want with a heavier car. torque is what gets you off the line
h22
b18

the h22 and h23 are the most common swaps for the accord(190-200 and 160 hp).
the b18 won't even work with the accord unless you get custom motor mounts, and they don't offer enough torque to move the heavy accord. the b16/b18 motors are not bad at all, they are perfect for people who drive smaller, lighter civics.
