Ericks Racing uses Alaniz. I've heard of Portflow. Anyone have comments?

Gotta recommend Portflow, that's all my friend's shop and I use... I've never seen or worked with Alaniz but i'm sure they do good work too... They have a 12 sec full interior daily driven EK, DC, and EG... The EG wasn't as impressive because of the chassis it was in, but still.... On Kenny's motor who owns the shop, he had a GSR sleeved to 84mm with 9.0:1, Crower rods, Portflow head, Hondata, Rev Hard stage 2C straight T04 turbo and on 22lbs made 505whp for is daily driven EK.... He sold that motor now and is building a new one I still have to take some pics of a JG port job compared to a Portflow... I hate JG **** so it makes me feel better when you see the difference.... Portflow Peace

do they actually cut of the top of the manifold to port&polish it (then re-weld it) or is that just for show purposes???

If you don't want ur manifold cut check into Extrude Hone... They do some bad *** work but it's pretty spendy for the gains unless you are building a race motor etc. I really wouldn't worry about doing so.. Peace http://www.extrudehone.com/

I give my recommendation to Head Games Motorworks. Dave there does awsome work having done a couple of head combinations for my car last year, as well Team Bullish benifitted from Daves talents breaking into the 6's with his head work. His pricing is great $850 for a full port with valve job for B series. Flow bench print outs are also available give him a call (609)586-0354.

Hello everyone,
i got my JG HEAD on and running!!! dont have many mods to it but all i have to say is thats it runs soooooooooo much smoother!! i think also because of the ECU that i got from iH8RICERZ...lets just say thats it feels like it glides through the gears like a hot knife through butter... ...not to bad i guess...i still want the PortFlow Head but this turned out pretty good too.. i probably wouldnt have noticed the difference anyways but im sure the dyno would later...
