I need !help! has anyone ever done this?
i have a 99 honda accord ex v6. i saw a guy who took the orange plastic out of the front headlights. they were stock, but with out the orange at the bottom. has anyone ever done this before? how would i do it? what do i need? any help is much appreciated.

Don't know if it would be the same as the civic headlamps, but he probably just threw them in the ovenfor 250 degrees for like 5 minutes then pryed it apart and removed the orange piece then resiliconed it and put it back in the oven. Or just use a heat gun. But that's for the 6th gen civic headlamps. I don't know if it would be the same for the accords.

It's so easy...
330 degree for 3 min, put the lens in a pan,
dont let the metal tocuh the HL.
just take the cover out with a screw driver

the orange stripe is hold together by a screw.
You actually can paint the headlight black housing
and keep the damn orange stripe.
Amber+black hosuing=JDM YO
