So sinece someone seems to have misplaced my throttle body i need to get a new one....what should i go with? i have a fully built 2l block, 12:1 C/R, P&P head, full valvetrain, 440cc injectors, skunk2 stage 2 cams, toda header, and comptech icebox intake, and tuning is done with a hondata s100. So which throttle body application would be best for me? just find a stock R TB? or buy an aftermarket one? if i buy another, which one would you guys recommend to use with my setup? also i heard if i get an aftermarket i have to get my intake manifold extrude honed? how would i go about doing that? my engines prepped and ready to go, all im missing is a damned TB! help me out guys! thanks.

 

go with 62-68mm tb. you will have to bore out the opening of the intake manifold
to fit the tb. DO NOT extrude hone anything

 

thanks SGT, got worried when i started hearing "hone" and stuff, so which TB would you reccomend? would it be cheaper to just buy a new stock one, or would it be worth it to go with an aftermarket in terms of price vs. gains? thanks for the great advice you always seem to have Stephen.

 

not sure on the price of a new one, but i think your best bet would be
either to find an inexpensive stock itr or overbored gsr tb, try summit for
bbk or holley(i forget which) 66/68mm or go with the ericks racing tb.
