Default 99 H22a in a 90 Accord

My problem is the ecu. The guy who bought the swap didnt get the wiring harness or ecu. I thought I could just chip it but was told otherwise. Im thinking if I eliminate the Rev limiter in the stock ecu and wire up a vtec controler itll be ok, comments on that are welcome. Keep in mind that this is someones trailer queen show car, so performance is not first. Ive done this type of thing before with a 90 accord and a 96 F22 motor. I know its not the correct way but I also know how hard it is to find an ecu.

I did the same thing that you are proposing and I had a lot of problems. If you are looking for a lude ECU, I have a 2001 5spd ECU that I will sell. If you are interested, please E-mail me at mischaman93@aol.com.

you cant use 97+ prelude ecu's since they are equipped with the immobilizer..if you want to do that just buy an obd0-obd2 conversion harness and try and find a 96 prelude ecu..or you can find someone to remove the immobilizer if you buy a 97 up ecu. i think katman's done it but im not sure..might want to check with him to see if he does.
