Default EK hatch w/ 99-00 SI front suspension

will putting the front LCAs, damper forks, and sway bar from a 99-00 civic SI on a EK hatch cause problems with my wheels/alignment?

You may need to take it in for re-alignment after you are done, but it won't cause permanent problems if that is what you mean.

Are the Civic Si LCAs and forks lighter than those on the other EKs? How about the UCAs?

Thanks! How about the forks, rear LCAs, and UCAs?

I checked on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and the Civic Si has different part numbers for the front/rear LCAs and the forks, but the pricing is the same. So it makes me wonder why they would put inferior products on regular Civics if the they can use the Civic Si parts for the same price. So now, I am unsure whether the Civic Si parts are just different, or are actually better.

ok, can anybody help me locate the part number for the upper control arms? I can't find them on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, but maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place. Below is a link to the Civic Si parts:

i have the 99-00 SI suspension setup on my hatch. JUst remember the forks are diffrent ONLY on the Si. I ran into this problem on mine. I just ended up using the COMPLETE suspension from the crossmember down to the nunts and bolts. It drives fine and i just did an alignment as a precautionary measure and it was all good.

So as of my current understanding, a complete an Si suspension conversion would require the following parts:

Front LCAs
Forks
Front 26 mm swaybar
Rear 13 mm swaybar
Shocks
Springs

I just checked http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and the rear LCAs are the same on all 96-00 Civics. Am I missing anything or is there any part that shouldn't be on that list?

yep that should work fine...IMO i would upgrade to an ITR 22mm rear sway bar with the beaks subframe kit ( http://www.beaksproducts.com ) but its up to you. if you dont want to i have an Si rear sway bar available for cheap.
Just sent you e-mail. Please reply. Thanks!

Well, don't forget that the si has 4-wheel disc brakes and that the fronts are larger than the DX/CX/VX/LX/HX models.
