when i turn the key, the motor is turning over, but its not firing....it sounds like its just about to start, but doesnt totally fire....can anyone PLEASE help me, i need to go to work ......thanks..

i have a 94 sol with a d16z6(SOHC vtec)

 

battery? alternator? if it's a manual, u can jump start it urself. have the car on run, push to about 5 mph, jump in car and shift to 2nd, let go of the clutch and make sure to step back on it or it'll stall.

 

Try checking the distrib. rotor see if its woron out if it is just use a sand paper or something to expose the new metal from inside


But don't forget to put the ignition wires back right
