Default EK9 chassis number

Okay hopefully someone can help me out here...does anyone have the chassi number of an EK9?

Need it so I can start ordering parts from the EK9, via my dealer in Holland but they need a chassis number so they can pull up the parts list for the type of car.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry I'm literally thinking in DUtch...we call it chassis....so yeah....think ya refer to it as the VIN...the JHMEK9...........and so on...but a complete number...needs this because thru this I can order the parts for it specifically via the dealer.....

I know what you mean.

He needs the VIN.

I don't know if anyone on here has a real Civic Type R. Your best bet is to search eBay or any kind of used car sites that you might have over there (like Autotrader or something...just the Dutch/European version)...usually the cars listed will have their VIN numbers.

the dealer should only need the "EK9" part since that alone describes a particular car. the rest of the VIN NUMBER does not help to further explain what kind of car these parts are for, more so what production number the vehicle is.

if the dealership can't figure out what parts belong to an EK9, then you should not be dealing with them.

So untrue in so many ways it makes things alot simpler because most parts that you end up getting will end up being Civic parts here....been there done that so thats why....they order all parts on basis of chassis numbers here....it's just the way things are done...I don't like it either but hey....like I have a decision in the matter.
