Password:JDM is awesome!
I have been on the market for a new motor for quite a while now since i got my new car. I couldnt decide whether i should buy my swap from Osaka or password:jdm. I had not heard to much about password:jdm but what i had heard was good. My friend had recently purchased a motor from Osaka and the motor was in okay condition but the diff was busted and they would do nothing to help him out. I decided to go with Password and i am very glad i did. I have not recieved my motor yet but their customer service is awesome. Steve really knows whats going on and he also knows how to treat a customer. They have awesome prices (better than Osakas prices overall with shipping and everything) and a good selection as well. I would buy from them again. Password gets
in my book. I will keep you guys updated when i recieve my motor. Im sure it will be in good condition. Peace

ive been to there site before!they have very good deals i may consider geting a motor from them not to sure yet still looking!
I'm in the same boat too. I'm leaning towards passwordjdm over HMO for right now since their only a $200.00 difference for the 2nd gen b16 I plan to get.
**UPDATE**
I recieved my motor today and I was very suprised and pleased. Not only did it come here way earlier that I had previously thought it would, but it was very clean for being out of a 96 model car. I am very pleased with the motor. I should have pics up in a few days.

look at the block stamp... it says 96... so that makes it a 97 spec. we only sell 96 specs.. but we deliver nothing but 97 or newer.
friday???/ i'll be back home by then!!! i am glad that you are satisfied with your purchase.

Password is definitely the place to go if you don't want a complete package. They are one of the few places anywhere willing to part out a swap package. Nobody else would sell me a B18C5 unless I also bought the transmission.
hey steve. I was just wondering what mounts are on the type R. I havent inspected them but i was wanting to know if any of these mounts are the mounts I will need for the swap. If not thats cool but I just thought i would ask so i didnt get rid of the right mounts.

bryson,
those are the stock mounts that comes on that ITR motor... what year car are you looking to install the swap in to? that would help out alot in determining what kind of mounts are required for your exact fitment. if your username implies that you are driving a gsr... than it should fit with no excuses!!! but i think the conversation that we had at one time was that your car was a civic... but i cant remember what year it is. or go on the hybrid forum and ask around... if its some other mounts that you need... and if i have them sitting around.. they are yours!
email me... i dont look on here too often these days....
thanks...
