Really confused about this.
Ok here is my problem.
In the next few months i plan on going with an itr 4 lug conversion for my 96 dx hatchback. its a direct bolt up which is great but im starting to get concerned with what wheels will fit.
I know my car now has 4 x 100 bolt pattern with a +40mm offset
I also know that the 96 ITR oem rims are: 15x6.5 +45mm offset and 4x114.3 bolt pattern.
To my knowledge on offsets, the lower (numerically) the number is for the offset the further out the wheel is pushed to the fender and the higher the number the further in the wheel is pushed to the shocks/struts.
I can find 4 x 114.3 bolt pattern rims pretty easily but im having a hard time finding them with 45mm offsets.
I guess my question is, Will i be able to run a 40mm offset rim with the new suspension without rubbing? or am i stuck buying the ITR wheels and just dealing?
Thank you in advance
