might buy this type R (should I???)
Well it is a 2000 ITR with 37,000 miles, I can get it for $16k. It has aem cold air intake, mugen header and mugen exhaust. Here are some pics, tell me if you think i should. (#00-0286)
we also have a 2001 black ITR with sparco seats for $15K but they took the keys to that one so I couldnt bring it in the bay to take pics of it.

Great price, but you get what you pay for.
I've always wondered this, maybe somebody can help me out: do you pay sportscar insurance for the Type-R or does it count as an econobox with nice suspension?

Dewd works at Carmax, that's why it's so cheap...any of you can goto a carmax and order one of those ITRs to your location to test drive.
That way, you can ALL jump on this good deal

heyyyy, did that car used to be at Carmax in Laurel?? Looks exactly like the ITR that was there...even has the AEM, Mugen Headers/Exhaust like the one that was a Laurel Carmax. If that is the one I think it is....I have driven it before I had some fun, but I returned it in good condition

its so cheap because carmax doesn't sell cars with aftermarket equipment to normal customers. They put it in a wholesale autction for the highest bidder. But the perk to working at carmax is that employees get first dibs on all the cars. I can get the car for what carmax paid for it.

16k is a good price, but with that much, i can get more horsepower for the buck.
10k for 97+ nissan s14 2k for sr20 s13 front clip = spanking type-r anyday.
