Default installed my intercooler and now car barely runs

ok.. i spent a lot of today installing my intercooler in my car.. i finally finished everything and put it all back together.. when i started my car it was ideling at like 400-500 rpm and sputtered like it was barely running.. the last time it ran like that was when my msd coil had a crack in the cap. the only thing i can think of is maybe a charge pipe clamp is loose and that's keeping it from running right. my car is only getting 5 psi now when it was getting 6 before the intercooler, but the end tanks of the intercooler are a lot smaller than the charge pipes so i thot that could be restricting some of the boost. my bov doesn't really seem to go off like it did before.. now i hear the wastegate a lot more.. i'm just not really sure what's going on with it.. can anyone help me.
thanks

you sure, you're not leaking boost ?

i was thinking that but i wasn't sure if that would be the reason why the idle would be bad.

The temperature drop is direcly related to the pressure drop. That just means your intercooler is doing its job unless you're using a vacuum source after the ic for your wastegate

could it be my charge pipes are too big? they're only 2 inches tho.. but there is a lot of piping.. maybe the piping is too long and it's starving the engine of air?? ahhh i duno damn this home made turbo crap i shoulda just bought a drag gen 2 for the gen 2 teg..

and you checked for vac leak ? piping should not made a difference, unless they're 50 feet from the turbo to the TB

I think UberTeg is right. It is normal to see a pressure drop (minimal) with an intercooler. You might just have to re tune it a little. Make sure your connected right on your vacuum/boost lines.

hmm.. ok i'm a complete dumb ***.. my map sensor hose had a big kink in it so no air was flowing to the map sensor
but the car still seems a little funny.. i'm not sure to the feel of this intercooler
