Default Raised wrist pins/Longer rods worth it? Downside?

I've searched exhaustively, and haven't found much info on this topic. I'm getting new pistons and I'm considering the raised wrist pin/longer eagle rod combo. Has anyone tried this combo for any length of time? My math indicates a mere .04 increase in R/S ratio from 1.581 to 1.622, but the cost is not much higher either. I did see one person claim that the raised pin pistons suffered from a weaker structure around the ring lands. Anyone have any input?

If the wrist pin location bisects the oil control ringland support, don't bother. The drop in sealing capacity is generally regaded as a race possible, street stupid design. Beyond that, it makes a lot more sense to offset the piston pin than just to move it up, as that will make a bigger and more positive difference in rod angularity (and hence dwell times) than pin upward movement.
