hi guys im new here and im doing some research for my friend. what kind of superchargers are available for the ITR? we want a street legal kit and i was hoping that vortech made one but i was only able to find ones for the gs-r and lower models. what kind of suspension mods would you guys recommend? headers? high flow cat? catback? intake? recommended air filter? we're just in the planning stages right now. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance and HI again.
supercharger- jackson
suspension- what are you looking for?
cat- carsound
header- how much are you willing to spend?
cat-back- look above
intake- look above
Almost everything you listed requires more information. like.. how much are you willing to spend? and.. what's the applicatoin?

suspension - something good for daily driving
i/e - n/e thing that gives good hp gains. probably around a few hundred for a catback, 2-300 for intake, 300...maybe more for headers, 100-150 for high flow. im not too sure about prices for honda/acuras because im more of a toyota/mazda guy.

People have gotten good power out of the Jackson Racing SC on the ITR but it requires some carefull tuning. The ITR comp ratio and more aggressive cams arn't as supercharger friendly as the other B series engines.
I would recommend staying away from the Vortech. Its a nicely made unit but essentially its a belt driven turbocharger and it doesn't make any power untill it's spinning at like 100K which means no ***** down low (which is where you really need em right
) It's just not as streetable as a positive displacement supercharger.
Do some trolling through the FI board or go to the FI hostboard. http://www.hostboard.com/cgi-bin/ult...bb=forum&f=110
There is a lot of good info out there for those willing to do the homework

Forget the JDM or DC headers for a supercharged car. They work well for the NA crowd, but the kamakazi works the best on a blown b-series engine.
If you want it to work right get a standalone. Otherwise you'll top out at around 200whp.
