Default Driver's seat is squeeking.

My driver's seat is squeaking. I didnt think it had nothing to do w/ the raild, but I WD-40'd it anyways and its still squeeking. It only squeeks when I launch from first.

Any suggestions??

It could be broken. A few ITR owners have experienced this.

Depends on the dealer but they "should" replace it.

it's probably your seat belt clip. use silicone spray in that area.

make sure it is the seat. When I drive I hear a squeaking which I thought was the seat, but it is actually the seat belt. Where the belt goes down to the seat that joint squeakes.....

My Recaro developed a squeak over xmas but it has dissapeared this last week. It came from seat for sure, just where the small of your back is. it was like a dry metal to metal squeek - it was *$"£$"£$* annoying.

Mine too. For mine, its the seatbelt thing thats to your right side thats rubbing or something. If you hold it when you go over bumps, the sqeak goes away.

Yup, mine does the same thing. Annoys me. Anyone have problems with the seatbelt not clicking in all the way and popping out when your driving? Mine does that and I always push it in all the way till it clicks.

My passenger side belt does this. Acura has the part, and it's getting installed on Monday (under warrenty)

I dont think that Acura will do anything about a "Squeak" but, I know if you take like one of the "red" threads that hold the fabric together on your seat (THE UNWORN SIDE) in most cases the right side of driver seat and jut cut one of them, and let it unravel... that would be a defect and they would have to reaplce it under warranty.

Now if you read the manual for the warranty, it says that they do not cover "squeaks or cricks"

My seat does the same thing, especially when you lean forward in it. Also does any of your guys passenger sun visor make noise or vibrate when driving? Its most apparent on the highway if you have the radio off.
