OK, well I want to get a JDM 4-1 ITR header, but I've heard a lot of carsound cat horror stories, so I wanna know if I can keep the stock cat, but have like a muffler shop modify it a little bit so the collectors will fit. Also, on inlinefour.com, they have 2.5" flanges or something, but is that so the headers will fit USDM cars?

I got my carsound cat from SMSP and I've had it for 2 years now, and no problems.

 

i think http://www.jdmhondaparts.com has the flanges too. An option that I did is get a testpipe w/ a 2.5in and 2.25out

 

But if I got the flanges and gasket from inlinefour would I be able to hook it right up to my stock cat?

 

i got a custom flange installed to mate it to my stock cat. (local muffler shop).
