Default New To the Board

Hey wassup, Im new to this board and I just want to say hi. I've been reading the posts for a bit and I like this forum over some of the other forums ive seen. You guys are pretty down to earth and dont seem to bother too much with useless stuff like body kits and under chasis lights and I like that. Dont laugh, im only 17 and I have a 86 accord haha... Is there anything I can do to this car??? Or am I doomed to dream about your cars for another 5 years until im through with college haha. I have a few hundred from endless hours of tutoring that I'm willing to use on my car. Any suggestions...?

Don't give up hope on your car. Almost any engine can be put in any car *FOR A PRICE*. I had a 85 Camry and after I sold it I found someone shoe-horned in a 95 Camry V6 in there! If you're gonna swap then just save up the money instead of buying mods here and there. Just my 2 cents. Oh yeah...WELCOME!

4 doors baby!

Personally, I think you should just continue to save money, be patient and buy something else you can work with. Not saying it is impossible to work with what you have now, but something else might be more sensible/economical Im sure.

True, or you could wait a really long time before getting your own car, like I did. I definitely suggest the beater route, I wished I had gotten into this car stuff sooner.
