use a TPS from any 88-00 Civic/Integra/CRV, sohc or dohc, vtec or non vtec, except for the 88-91 DX/LX Dual Point 1.5L motors are larger and can't be used

You may have to grind the two rivet type things off the donor and use some bolts on the new one. To this day I don't know why honda does that. And if you try and buy just a tps at the dealership they tell you that you need to buy the whole TB. pfffft.

My 2nd gen B16a actually came with phillips screws on the TPS, and from the looks of it they were factory. Who knows, the usdm motors always have rivets..
And actually, you dont need to grind the head all the way off the rivet. If you can slot it for a screwdriver, they will just screw off.

If you're looking for some nicer screws to bolt the TPS back on with, the screws that bolt the stereo brackets to the dach in a Toyota are perfect size and length. most Stereo shops have a bin full of these screws (mine does anyway.)

you answered your own question:

more $$$ for them.
