Just wondering, has anyone heard of an F22 in a 86 crx?

if you're drag racing, then it's fine. if not, much too heavy..

everyone will tell you do what's been done before, which is throw in a Bseries.. which is what i'd recommend, unless you want to go into uncharted territory..

i have wondered about that swap befor to.you would basically be puttin a h22 in with less hp.you would also have understeer

I think a d16z6 is a good engine for the 1st gen crx's. but that's just me. It is a nice light motor that is fairly modable.

Hey I really appreciate the replies. I dont think i want to venture into the uncharted so i think ill stick to the B series. But yeah, f22 came in accords with vtec pretty sure. Thanks again

You could also try a d16a1 out of a first generation Integra. I think you will need the one from an 86 or 87. You will also need the transaxle out of the integra for this to be a bolt in swap.
