I don't know if it's just my Lude or all Lude's but there is a switch right in front of the ignition that you can toggle left and right. Does anyone else have this switch? What does this switch do? It looks factory. I looked in the owners manual but no luck. (I have a 96 VTEC)

If I had to guess I would guess that it is an aftermarket alarm system. Is it a small silver switch? Do you have a security system in your car? Follow the wires behind it to see where they go. Does the car start fine no matter which way the switch is flicked?

 

It''s a black switch. I am the 2nd owner of the vehicle. No, it doesn't have a security system. Like I said it does look factory. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow. I think it might have been a switch for neon lights (the previous owner did look like he might have had a little bit of "ricer" in him)
