ok, so I'm driving down the street, and I feel that my car isnt pulling as hard....I put my head closer towards my dash and i can hear a clicking noise coming from under my hood....my car stalls and i let it sit for ten minutes. It starts back up, but makes a really loud clicking noise (sounds like someone is putting a fork in a fan blade).Now its dead, and it doesnt turn over, even when i try and push start it. Does anyone know what this sounds like.....is my whole motor fu*#ked?

BTW i have a d16z6 (SOHC vtec)

 

hmmm....you should do a compression check or a leak down to see if its the head gasket....or you should pull off the valve cover and see if you droped a valve....or look at your cam gears...see if your skiped a tooth or something

 

i had the same problem... its the distributor.

 

check your oil could be lifters tapping

 

you do anything to the motor recently?
