ok im on my 4th cable speedo and its off by 20 mph. im done with tring to fix it. is it possable to go from cale to electric? i already have the electrice sending unit fromthe tranny so all i would really need is the electric speedo. has anyone done this and have pics? and if anyone has pics of thei gauge clusters from the back i could really really use them to determin hat speedometer mightwork.
thanks

The JDM Civic/CRX SiR clusters use an electric speed sensor so I would assume that the Integra XSi does as well. If so, they would bolt right into your car and you can use most any Civic/Integra electric speed sensor on the tranny and wire it up to the cluster. If not, you might have to get a newer Civic/Integra cluster and rewire it and make it fit. Not sure though.

I was wondering the same thing about the jdm sir cluster, I know the teg xsi is a cable cluster, I just got a complete front clip yesterday and was very suprised to find a cable speedo, but what whatever. I'm hoping that you can just hook up the speed sensor to the cluster, but there is a speed sensor wire in the ecu so i'm not 100% sure how that would work.??? I would say try to hook it upp directly to the cluster and see what happens, you may have a code and then vtec won't engage. I'm sure there is a speed sensor wire that runs from the cluster to the ecu in order to tell the ecu the speed of the car... I would love to get a 100% answer on this as well... soo someone help!!!!
