Your opinions on the ST 19 mm rear sway for an eg/eh or whatever. only if you have experience with t
lookin to get a 19 mm rear sway on my hatch. i have a gsr front sway and h&r race springs with yellows. i dont too much oversteer so type r sway is out. ive read a little about the ST bar and you dont need a reinforcement kit so everythign i guess is provided. anyone use it? what do you think? anythign i should know is appreciated. thanks!
i have one right now on my ej6 (ek) and it handles and feels very neutral. but i have heard of them ripping out your subframe on eks, so you might want to get the beaks kit along with the rear sway
hrmm. could u tell me where u read about the frame ripping? do u run the bsq kit or beaks kit? will both work? how much did u pay for your sway? where did u buy it from? thanks man
there has been a few post about the subframes ripping out on ht actually. And a buddy of mine had his rip out.
i love mine...it sets the suspension up perfect for road use. i paid 150 for mine at a local motorsports shop and i have a del sol so i dont have to worry about subframe tear-out. on yours i would say beaks kit and ur set.
does anyone have any pics of subframe ripping
I have a rip on my subframe when I bought the car I just want to know if it is fron a swaybar or what

Ive got one on my 00 ex coupe. I like the way it handles alot, but I do have other stuff to compliment it. As far as subframe tear out, so far so good, everything still looks in good shape under there
I am skeptical of these beaks kit anyway, isn't it basically big washers you put on the mounting points? I just don't understand exactly how this would make it any stronger, without welding the parts on?

i got my ST sway bars for my 93 cx. it handles pretty good after i put them in, they feel just like my brother's 94 si (ITR rear sway and GSR front sway). but the bar is quite thin, not as thick as the ITR 22mm as i would like, bbut gets the job done. as for install, the instructions are vauge enough to **** you off if your not familiar in with the underbody, i also had to drill a few holes for 2 bolts to be placed in. other than that, the ST sway bars are great.
here is a link on how to install the bars. The article was done on my car. . .. http://www.overboost.com/story.asp?id=445
