anyone using 225/50/15 tires as daily tires? any rubbing if lowered? searched and didn't find anything about it. also, anyone have pics of the tires on a car?
yes they do,

you will have to offset them a little more and buy a wider rim

i run the same kosei k1s. mine are +45 offset.
you will not be able to fit a 225 size tire on a 6.5" rim. *edit* safely anyway

I'm wondering though, anyone get 225/50/15 tires onto 6.5" wide 4th gen Lude VTEC (the lighter non-Si) wheels on an accord? I'm thinking of going the cheap route w/ those wheels... but offset and fitment are a concern.
that link to tirerack shows Yokohama ES100's come in 225/50/15, and $80 a tire!
I had(sold) 225/50/15(Yoko AVS Int) on 15x6.5 92 prelude si wheels lowered on Neuspeed Sports, the offset is +55 and no rubbing issues on my 00 lx coupe mostly due to the fact that the wheel is so short. Tires did tend to bubble out while running high psi for road racing and made it wear in the middle slighly more than the edges.

On a 5th Gen Accord i don't think a 225/50/15 on a lude rim would fit. I have 205/50/15 AO32Rs on my Prelude VTEC rims, and there is literally 1mm of clearance between the rim itself and the upper control arm. The tire goes straight up so it doens't rub, but if you put a tire on it that bulged out like a 225, it would most likely rub. It's so close, it has knocked the wheel weights off the my wheels when I put them in the back.
