i wouldnt even bother...im taking mine out this winter. i might leave the drivers one in just for ***** and giggles. there really isnt a good place to mount them, without a rollbar or cage. but that is another bag of worms in itself.............
well the back ones, NOT the laps i am just wraping around my rear strut bar, i think that will work good. but the LAP straps i dont know where to mount those. i am guessing you have to drill, does anyone know where a good place to mount it is? any ideas? or anyone know a CO. that makes a cheap rollcage, like a 8 point? or 6 point?

ive seen it done by either wedging them under the back of the seat mounts, and then tighten the seat down.......or drilling into the floor and putting a huge washer behind it. as for how safe it is???????? its probably not.

Mount the harness brackets to the floor. What you should do is go out and buy a sheet of steel. Cut the steel in 2"x 2" squares. Drill holes in the centre of the squares and use the highest grade bolt you can find.
Now, install the brackets this way:
[]======== (this is the bolt)
Starting from the head of the bolt:
1. Washer
2. 2" x 2" steel square
3. chassis of the car
4. 2" x 2" steel square
5. Washer
6. harness bracket
7. another washer
8. locking nut
9. another lucking nut.
Install the bolt from the outside to the inside (so the locking nuts are inside the car)...this will prevent you catching stuff floating around in the street with the exposed bolt ends.
With the shoulder belts, get a roll bar and mount them there.

Before you get flamed. Go out to your car right now, and remove that.

oh well. untill i find a roll cage in hawaii. i will use a strut bar, i still think it will hold me. and as far as the bolting goes i will go that. thank you very much!!! i will do just as you said. that helped a lot!!!
but still a pic would be very nice!!!
you are kidding yourself if you think that strut tower bar is going to hold you under an impact.
Even if it did, the length of the belt would be too long, and would stretch too much under an impact.
for your own safety, find a different way to mount your harness.

well the lenth of the strap is only liek 2 feet if that. and thats 4 bolts holding the harness. but oh well? i thought it would be better then the 2 bolts drilled in the floor. and stilll from the top of the seat to the ground behind your seal is still almost 2 feet.
dont you think the strut bar held on by 4 bolts that hold the strut bar would be better then 1 bolt perside of the selt belt bolter to the car?
oh well i thought it was a good idea?
maybe i will just hav eto wait till i get a roll cage.
or you know how you can weld in rear strut bars to the strut towers, dont you do you think that would work? its like a roll cage...

I would post a picture of my shoulder strap mount, but I'm sure you've already seen a cage in a CRX. As for the lap mounts, I used eye bolts in the OEM bolt holes and clip ends. Nobody has ever suggested that this isn't a fine way to do it.
The reason you dont use a harness with no roll bar is becuse if your car was to ever roll over or something to that affect you are not able to duck down or even move the slightest. therefor you would be crushed. Get a roll bar first or put your stock seat belts back into use, For your own Safty.
damn it...
man i need a damn cage!!! oh well... still i would like to these damn things in my car. even if i dont use them all the time. i think i am going to just drill holes in the floor under the seat and use the sparco eye bolts with large washers. and do it that way. we will see. i guess i will take pictures when i am done and show you...
