ill take em if you dont want them..just because they are blue dosnt mean you cant use them paint them flat black or polish them silver

i also press out the bushings and press in prothane bushings in them

 

that's awesome! i was lookin around online and everywhere i looked i only saw the purple ones. then one place showed blue but it was at a weird angle so i thought it mite've been just the light. where did u get urs and for how much?

since u brought up wanting purple, i just had to throw this out: why are so many aftermarket parts purple? is anodized purple the cheapest to make or something? greddy type s, original b&m fpr, SSR LCAs, etc.

I was just wondering if they were genuine.

 

When something is anodized, dye is added in one of the last steps in order to get the desired color. Purple is used because it is very eye-catching and most companies like AEM only anodize in red and blue.

Everybody knows what a ZEX nitrous bottle looks like because it's ****** sweet *** purple. The same artistic sense applies to other anodized parts.

 

i've heard from somewhere that the blue ones were the older style of SRR LCA's. the newer design is all purple.

Is this for an EG or an EK?

 

EK....i think they only make them for eks....

 

They're available for EG/DC (non-R) applications, also.

yup thats what SRR's website says, but AJ Racing only sells them for EK

 

don't flame me but what is the advantage? Is it that they are lighter and stronger. And if so, how much lighter?
