Default Is it worth switching from AGX/H&R OE to Ground Control/Koni?

I have AGX shocks and H&R OE springs. I've been wanting Ground Controls with 350 lb springs front and rear. I doubt the AGX's will hold up. Should I keep my current setup, use GC's with my AGX's, or sell both and get Koni Yellows and GC's? I don't know if the there will be that big of an improvement to make it worth the hassle.

It all depends on how much adjustability you want. I'm not sure that it'd be worth the trouble for typical street use. It'd be more reasonable if you were to use the setup for autox.

If you do go for it, I'd be very interested in the H&R OE sports.

Default My impressions

It's pretty nice. I haven't autocrossed this setup yet. I did 2 autocrosses with the stock suspension and good tires and I'd have to say it is way better now. On windy roads it stays pretty flat and feels very sure footed. I'm running the new Yokahama AVS ES100's now and this combo sticks good. I definately could tell that the rear rates were higher than stock because It is easier to get the back to slide. It's still not tail happy at all though. I haven't bought a larger rear sway bar yet for fears of too much oversteer. I can feel it lean more on flat turns than in the hills though. I'm not sure if I want something more aggressive. The ride quality is awesome and I like it for the daily grind. It's firm yet smooth. It turned out quite a bit lower than advertised. It was more like 1.25"f/1"r. It's ok because the front was about a .25" higher than the rear to begin with. It is totally liveable. I'd say a little stiffer than a type R. The adjustments work well on the shocks. I just think they won't last with the higher rates I would get if I got ground controls. I go to the snow all the time and they clear chains ok but that no longer matters because I just bought some snow tires. If I got the GC's I would raise it about 1/4" for a little more clearance on driveways and in the snow. I was going to originally buy the agx's and GC's but when I got my shocks the warranty card said it was void if they were used with threaded collars. They can tell where the weight has been resting on the shock so I didn't want to risk that lifetime warranty. Sometimes I wish I would have bought the GC's and some Koni Yellows. That setup was $900 and this was $500, so for the money I spent I am very pleased. Here is a link to some pics from when I first got them on. http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4291573783
