Default potential rebuild, opinions / comments please.

Right now I have a stock GSR, minus an injen CAI. I found a GOOD deal on prices for labor towards changing the valvetrain to ITR or Skunk2 along with porting the head and changing the pistons in the car. I'm looking at around $800 with all that work done in a 2-3day turnaround.

I'm considering Skunk2 Stage 1 cams, ITR valvetrain (cheaper than skunk2's), and the builder said I should go with CTR pistons... Which would bump up my compression nicely, but the last "touch" I want to have in my car is about 75 shot worth of laughing gas to put me over the top. I'm not too sure how well that would work with 12 something compression which I should have after he ports the head?

What about just JDM Integra Type R or USDM Integra Type R pistons??

Planning on doing this soon so any advice is appreciated..

The goal is 170-180 all motor HP, redline around 8600 and a 75 wet shot.

i dont think that 12:1 compression is necessary w/ itr cams..you should just stick w/ jdm itr pistons...get a good header/exhaust and you should be able to get around 170 whp.
