I was going to school this morning and i was chillin at the intersection in nuetral. Suddenly my car dropped under the idle rpm and almost stalled but i revved it and then it was fine. Do you think there is something wrong with my motor?
that happened to me when my o2 was bad, and my idle is a lil low, so when i turn on something like lights or ac/heat it almost stalls out then comes up to about 750-800
it is very hard to predict what might be going on to an engine by just one symptom..
a engine can stall a lil bc of a missread from the ecu from one of the sensors.. a misopening of a inyector, a misfire from a spark , u know therees plenty of reasons why i an engine can drop down in RPMS... if it only did it once then dont worry ... start to worry once it does it on a constant , or every time u drive it basis.... but not just bc it does it once it means somehting its wrong.. specially since u rev it and it came back to normal.... keep an eye on it anc check for codes... if problem persist then worry....
its just like coughing... anybody can cough any given moment for any reason.. and doesnt mean u are sick.... just keep an eye on it
