Knock Sensor in Coolant Line?

Default Knock Sensor in Coolant Line?

I have an H22A4, just wondering if i should drain the coolant when replacing the knock sensor.......Did a search and came back with alot of hearsay. So anybody with real experience let me know.

all i have to say is it never hurts to flush the system.. keeps things is good shape

Drain the coolant? There's no need.

The knock sensor just screws into the back of the block.

You'll only need to drain the OIL, since the oil filter gets in the way. (If the motor is already in the car) But other than that, you just simply screw it in. Trust me, I got the same motor in my 4G Prelude.
