Wanted Integra type R
Im in search of an Integra type R pref w/ JDM front already and recaros. Im looking to pay 16-24 depending on condition of the car. Getting an ITR for me is a pretty big step im worried about getting it stolen because I am a part time student at a C.C. We have 12 thefts at the school and 7 were Hondas. I should buy a little CRX and a ITR. If anyone has a friend or knows anyone that is a selling an ITR please email me or tell me. You can also post replies on what I should look for when buying one. Give me some tips on security measures too.

Look around, there are some very clean Rs for sale on this board. You're gonna spend at least $20k for an R with JDM front and Recaros. After what you said, I would definitely NOT drive an R to your college. Get a daily beater, and keep the R garaged..

Okay, it is a Euro front, but I don`t think that you could get an ITR like this somewhere else...
Ask a person in the military to ship it to US, so it`s for free.

Too bad you wouldn't be able to register it for street use here in the US easily...

If you live in California, your chances are slim in getting your car to pass smog with a JDM engine. Why? because when the smog people do a visual inspection on a car's engine bay, they look at the engine block number. If it doesn't come up in their books it does not pass the visual inspection. Although, there are some places (very rare), that overlook the block number sometimes. We do not know of these places, so please refrain from asking us.
If you're not in California, YOU need to check with your local smog people to see if a JDM engine will effect anything smog-wise. Some states don't even care if the engine is US or JDM. You'll have to find this info out on your own.

whose the guy who has the JDM Front end and where do you live? I am very interested. I only have a certain amount for a down payment(i blew the little money i had on goodies) but if you send me nice pictures ill consider? whats your time frame for selling the car?
