Ya it works I know 100% for sure it does because I put one on my g/f's 01 integra gsr. I am pretty sure you need the 2.5" cat for it to fit but who knows all I no is that we had to. I recomend Carsound.

Just make sure you have the donut that goes on the end of the header, you'll also need a new cat. that'll convert to your stock/aftermarket exhaut piping size.

the jdm dc header is pretty long. i installed a 2.5" cat and there was no room to install it. i had to shorten my exhaust piping.

You are wrong. 94-99 Tegs have different header lengths than the 00-01 tegs. It will not bolt up directly with his teg because the header will be too short. Take a look:

that is true, but since he needs to modify/buy new cat, you can make the adjusments there, correct?

Could do that. Cat with custom diameters can be found easy enough but I don't know how easy it will be to find a custom cat that is actually LONGER than stock. May have to modify the exhaust pipe to make it fit.

True, but the header is shorter then his stock manifold.

no need to shorten the exhaust. On my g/f's 01 gsr we have the jdm dc 4-1 header 2.5" carsound cat. And apexi n1 catback exhaust. IT all bolted up perfect and fit fine. I am going to get the type one exhaust for her car soon though b/c i no i go from 2.5" header and cat to a 2 1/4" exhaust.
