Did a quick search and didn't find anything.

Anyone know if there are significant gains with the new intake? Or what the improved upon the old design? I just saw an add for it the other day and I was just curious. Anybody?

 

from what little i have heard about it i know it costs around 100 more than the standard AEM CAI, and has bigger tubing, and i heard something that it might have a design inside the tube to increase the air waves or something like that, feel free guys to correct me where i am wrong

 

The new aem cai has 2 different chambers in the piping that have different diameters. yea, i guess the idea is to change the manner in which the air travels in, but either way my roomate's car(integobsession) is at AEM so taht they can develop the new intake for the GSR application. We have seen dyno plot of the new one up against the original and it seems to have a slight increase across the majority of the powerband and peaks at 2-3hp more from what i can make of the graph. Check aempower.com to see if they put that dyno plot up yet. It was done with their prototype for the GSR. Does that answer any of ur questions?
