I have a 89 crx and i plan on putting a full kit and 17 inch wheels... My question is, is the car gonna have a lot of open space between the tires and the fenders which will cause it to look funny? Or will i just haveta lower it?

IMO 17's look stupid on a crx. To much rim and not enough car. Get some 15's or 16's and lower 1.5-2".

yeah, 16s are what i have on mine...its about as pimpy as you want to get. anyways...its not gonna change the wheelwell gap, you want the new wheel/tire package to be the same size as the origional wheel/tire.
if your talking about a body kit, then yeah i would lower it.

 

My first idea was going with 16's, but i also want white wheels and cannt find the 16's for near the price i can get the 17's for, anyone know where i can find them cheaper? And yes i was talking about a body kit..
