Damn sorry to hear that. What are the details, did you have an alarm? See the person doing it?

 

 

The alarm is in my room. My friend Bernie was gonna install it for me next week. I was in a club (illegally...don't tell my parents), and me and my friend were gonna walk across the street to get some fast food and I noticed it wasn't there.

 

Man I get so nervous parking at theaters and clubs... that's why I let someone else drive.

Actually, my parents already know, I had to tell them where I was when it got stolen. (no biggie though, they aren't mad)

The good thing is I have full coverage on it, I pay 230 dollars a month for the insurance on it.

And no, sorry, but your ECU getting jacked doesn't make the fact that my whole car got jacked any better...

it's cool though, life goes on...plus, I've always wanted a hatchback.

the car is worth 12 grand probably, a brand new b16/tranny from honda will be around 6? then to fix all the other things that probably got jacked + labor would not be another 6 grand, unless the theives crashed your car in the process of stealing it. a car is totalled when it costs more to fix it than the car is worth. period.

If the insurance pays in my direction (looks like it will), then I'll be throwin parts left and right.

Funny story about the emblem, while I was at school, someone tried to pry it off, and all they ended up with was the silver H and the plastic block that it was mounted on was still there...man it looked ugly, I just lifted up the hood that day, and unbolted that block, took it out, and voila! instant CTR grille.

thanks, but i figured that out on my own. explain then why you see civic's on auctions with only missing rims and stereo? i've seen type r's on auction with just a missing interior and rims.

I thought most insurance carriers considered a car totaled if the repairs were 50% car value + 1$ or more

 

sorry to hear that, hopefully you'll get some benefit from this. my si was stolen twice. one time i got brand new wheels. and the second i got a brand new tranny and aftermarket head unit. it sucks to have it stolen with the theft recover and all but maybe something ok will come ur way in return.

I've had my Si with no alarm or anything for a few months now. Damn I'm stupid.

are you sure it wasnt towed? I deep elem those tow truck guys go nuts for no reason. their absolutley ridiculous.
