Default 5th gen civic door/interior light switch

can someone tell me whether the door switch is a positive-switch or negative-switch?

to clarify: does the switch connect to + or - when we open the door?

TIA

black/white or green/red in the drivers kick panel. It's a negative wire.

If it's for an alarm, make sure the your other doors also set off the alarm. One of the wires is just for the driver door, the other is for all doors including drivers.
