I was wondering if anyone knows the gear ratios for this tranny. It states that the d15b 3 stage vtec gets approx. 58mpg. I was wondering if it has a tranny similar to the CX or a tranny similar to the SI. IF the tranny is similar to the SI, i wonder how many mpg's the CX tranny would yield with this long block that costs 500$

 

VX/CX tranny.....they're tall as hell.

i dont believe this is correct. it gets its amazing fuel milage from the 3 stage vtec, not the tranny.

 

isn't that the vtec-e? hmmmm from what i know it is ment for getting great gas milage. 58 though? that seems a bit crazy

VX is supposed to get 55mpg I think?

 

id like to see a HX owner that gets 55mpg...

 

I used to have a 97 hx and didnt notice a difference between it and my 2000 ex???
