Koni Yellows with stock springs
i have close to 90,000 kms on my 98 Type SH....shocks are starting to go a little bit.
I don't want to lower my car....been there, done that.....
anyone using koni yellows with their stock springs? did you get any drop when you used the lowest spring perch??

Uh, just for your information, I think there are some peculiarities when using Konis on an SH - I seem to recall seeing some pictures captions "Type-SH Outback"...

The Koni Sports can be set on the lowest perch to lower the car 15mm in front and 20mm in the rear. IIRC, on an SH, you need to use the lowest perch in order to maintain stock height in front. So on an SH you should also use the higher perch in back unless you want the back lower than the front.

You'll need different spring perches for the front. The front springs of the SH are smaller in diameter than the base model's springs. When I had mine installed, the shop ended up using the Koni spring perches for a Civic/Integra. The front springs are also slightly longer, so you'll need to use the lower groove (there's only 2 on the regular Koni, Neuspeed Konis have 5 grooves IIRC).
The rear springs are also smaller in diameter, but they fit fine on the regular perches. Use the middle groove out of 3.
Ride height was unchanged.
