Yea, I did it myself. I should of brought the car over to Albert's(mugen76). The bottom nuts are freaking hard to reach. The C-Speed how to's threw me off. There was so little space. I was going to quit when i thought i losted a washer. But some how I found the little f@#$er and completed the install.

if you really want hat red to shine on your valve cover use vaseline. i swear it works wonders. put a light coat over the valve cover after it is all clean using simple green and a toothbrush and let it sit over night. then wipe off the excess really good and then put it back on. it really works. I am getting ready to re-do my valve cover using it soon

Well... I tried simple green the other day and it seems a bit rough on the paint. My towel comes up red! It also leaves the valve cover looking dry and white.

I used armor all and it worked fine removing oil stains off my valve cover.

I thought it said on the bottle. I definitely wouldn't use straight simple green on the valve cover, green is strong schtuff!!

To the guys that use simple green, do you wash out your engine bay using a hose after you're through?

I remember hearing that simple green came in a wipe form for those of us that are nervous about spraying water in our engine bay.

doh! hehe.. No, I didn't dilute it. It started taking off the paint, but didn't remove the oil that well....
