Default JDM Recaro question

Ive heard stories of JDM Recaros not being all that comfortable if your a bigger or taller person. Is this true? The reason is im planning on joining the GB on Recaro SRD's which fit a little better for taller/bigger ppl, or am i incorrect? Any info appreciated. Thanks.

There are a tight squeeze but not to bad. I am 6'4" and heavy (250+ pound ish there is a poor pic of me looking at my car https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=384999 its not great but you should be able to see how bif Iam). I have noticed with mine that the passenger seat seems a little bigger than the drivers seat so if you mount them the otherway round it would be a better fit.

Well, JDM Recaros were made for originally for Japanese or u may say Asian fit person and I am only 5'5 so for me is perfect fit. If u are taller and much wider person like one of my American coworker, he did complain of too tight fit because he is 6'2 with wide shoulders. I think its better for u to try universal SRD's because its made for mass market and u can demo them easily at avaliable dealers before u spending on something expensive which u can't try at first hand.
If u are just tall, maybe u should spend the extra on a set of Vision lower seat rails which may drop the seat by almost an inch but don't quote me.

I'm 5'10, 180, and I love the JDM recaro's in my car. The biggest complaints seem to come from women. The base of the seat isn't wide enough for their hips, and the opening for a harness is right at the height of their heads...

I wouldn't trade them for anything. I really can't wait to get back to the track with them!
