Default think this might be the problem?

like most of you know i just bought a beat up 90 2g ls, and she had a heavy knock. i was guessing that it was the rod, like she spun a bearing or something, but i opened it up and came to find this.....

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?i...890905&idx=113

actually, 1 bearing was spun, another was in my oil pan in about 300,000 peices.

here are some pics of the crank and bearings.

notice on this pic, that the left bearing has the colored paint worn off, and the journal peice is betn, this indicates it was spun. when the right one stayed put.

ill take more pictures during the re-install.

dont you love it whne the parts company orders you the wrong parts. i got main bearings, not rod bearings. but thank god for napa, they'll have them for me by 1pm today. YAY
