Camber kit question
I got a 96 civic hatch. I dropped it 1.75 inches in the front and 1.5 in the rear. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many degrees of camber adjustment I would need for my tires to stop getting eaten up. I was looking at one kit and it gives plus or minus 1.8 degrees adjustment. Is that enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Have you got your vehicle aligned after the lowering? If not than that is why your tires are getting chewed up. It's called toe wear. Any time you lower a car or do significant suspension work it is a good idea to have the vehicle aligned.
With a drop that is not that aggressive(1.75 inch) the need for camber kits is not as necessary as a vehicle dropped 2+ inches. If you want your tires to wear 100% normal get the camber kit and the vehicle aligned.
