I'd check out the reader reviews over at http://www.tirerack.com

I like the Bridgestone Potenza S-03's, but they can be pricey.

Falken Azenis are a street legal "race" tire, but they won't last very long.

I have the Kumho 712's. They have pretty decent wet and dry handling and an insane 300 treadwear rating but I think my next set of tires will be the Yoko AVS ES100's.

I just recieved my Yokohama es100's mounted on the Kosei K1's (posted pics), an these tires are such a huge improvement over the kumho escata 712s, infact I'm beginning to hate the 712s.

what kind of driving do you mostly do? commuting? commuting w/ track or autox? let us know so we can answer your question better. you definitely don't want to be getting a tire you won't be 'using' as you'd only be 'losing' your money. you like my rhyme?
