Default Moron!

I parked my bike out side of my grandma's house while visiting with family today and the neighbor across the street backed into my bike. I wasn't there at the time but when I got back some family members were outside saying that they just picked my bike up off the ground. Apparently after this girl hit my bike she just drove off. When she came back I pointed out the red paint on her black jeep that used to belong to my bike and got her insurance information.

How do you not notice that you just ran over a 400lb motorcycle?

A buddy of mine had the same type of thing happen. Some grandpa in a Suburban back up and ran over his F2. Drove off and never looked back, literally. Atleast you were able to get her information.

It requires one to be exceprionally oblivious to run over a bike and not notice. You only have to have no sense of responsibility to run over a bike and drive away.

The insurance guy came to my house and said he will give me blue book for the bike and I get to keep it. Not a bad deal at all.

I took the bike to the dealer and since they thought that they would be doing to work they opted to replace everything with a scratch.

What was the bike? (year, model). Also, how much was Blue book on it? Was the bike still rideable? Just wondering if you had enough to sell the bike as is, take the cash along with the Insurance money and bet something brand spankin new.
