Camshaft Question for the Advanced Tuners
What is the basic difference between a good FI cam and a NA cam in terms of lift and duration? I have a Crower regrind cams (DOHC) for a NA motor that I want to use on a FI motor. Are they better then stock cams?
well, it depends entirely on the what specs the cams were reground to doesnt it?!?!? the stock cams could be better?
get those specs, and get back to us here...
but generally the FI cams have less overlap or duration...

INTAKE: Duration: 270 degrees / Lift: .363
EXHAUST: Duration: 266 degrees / Lift: .354
for JDM DOHC ZC 1.6L (non-VTEC)

i dont know the stock camshaft specs for a ZC,
so if you could find those out, then we could compare teh two and determine which one would be better.
