how to check if distributor is good?
i have a distributor on an engine that's out of the car. is there anyway i can check if the distributor is good before i swap the engine in? it's a z6.

What ECU are you going to use? I hope a P28 that matches the Z6 distributor you are toying with. You can't mix and match and OBD1 dizzy to a OBD0 ECU.
You should look into the 5g forums. Maybe somebody over there can scan the HELMS instructions for testing the sensors in the dizzy.
